I stopped by Riteaid 10/4 and got some good deals.  Here is what I bought.

Transaction #1

Dove shampoo/conditioner 2/$7.00

(4) for $14

(1) Deodorant w/ free bodyspray sample for $3.99

Used 2 BOGO coupons on haircare 10/2 RP

Used 1 $1.00 off coupon deodorant 10/2 RP

Received a $5 UP+

Merchandise total $17.99 – $8 in coupons = $9.99 – $5 P+= $4.99 for 5 items or $1 a piece.

Oral B 3@ white power TB $5.99

SCR $2.99

coupon $3.00

Merchandise total $5.99 – $3.00 = $2.99 OOP

– $2.99 SCR = FREE

Crest Toothpaste $2.59

SCR $1.60

Coupon $1.00

Merchandise Total $2.59 – $1.00 = $1.60 OOP

– $1.60 SCR = FREE

Scope Mouthwash 750ml $4.00

Up+ $2.50

coupon $1.50

Merchandise total $4.00 – $1.50 = $2.50 OOP

– $2.50 UP+ = FREE

I also bought 4 small goldfish snacks that were at the checkout on sale for $0.50 (usually $1) and had $0.50 peelies.  I did not check them at the register, they rang up for $0.90 – $.50 coupon = $0.40 each.  I won’t bother taking them back, I’ll just double check the register next time.

My merchandise total for this transaction was $33.27, I had $15 in previous up+, paid $6.28 OOP, received $7.50 in new UP+ and also I will turn in $4.59 for SCR.

Transaction #2 Covergirl (All eye makeup)

Sale this week is B1G1 50% off

1 at $8.49 (smokey eyes shade blast)

(1) 50% off $4.24

2 at $5.59 (4 shades eye liner)

(2) 50% off at $2.79

(2) $8/2 coupons

(2) $1 coupons

Merchandise total $29.49 (my in store math was wrong by $0.51 so I am just shy of a $10 up+ reward).

$29.49 – $18=$11.49 – $7.50 up+ (previous up+ from transaction #1)=$3.99 OOP

and if I buy 1 more item (cheapest is $3.39) then I can get my $10 up+ which would make this a $2.40 MM.

Side note I was only able to get 2 papers and these were Watertown Times with only 2 insert.  Definitely buy the Post Standard if you are looking for inserts from Smart source, pepsi, or GM.  Redplum and P&G were the only inserts.  I tried every gas station and store from here to Watertown to get a Post Standard Sunday but they sold out fast.  Also I just want to note that I did these transactions on coupons from 2 newspapers so even if you don’t buy 10 papers a week you can still get great deals at the drugstores.

Side note #2 after reading comments on other sites it has been brought to my attention that the Covergirl coupon is intended for foundation, concealers, blushes, powders, bronzers, puffs and that type not eye or lip makeup.
